I\u2019m Miss C Brown, specialist Hip Hop DJ residing in the UK. I have been DJing for a number of years and use the traditional two turntable set up (with Serato) I\u2019ve been a supporter of the UK Hip Hop scene through radio, mix tapes and events and ran a successful independent Hip Hop night called Ones & Twos, which supported international, local artists and DJ\u2019s.
Being a female Hip Hop DJ inspired this mix; I wanted to represent females in UK Hip Hop. It is always nice to give the ladies some shine as we tend to be overlooked and underrepresented in this male dominated genre. I would have loved to feature more ladies \u2013 but I only had 60 minutes! I\u2019m bringing you something new, something old and something classic in this mix. Enjoy!
